A Kentucky Christmas at the Frazier
Rich in tradition and surrounded by sights and sounds of the holidays, A Kentucky Christmas at the Frazier offers guests a warm and wonderful escape from a cold winter’s chill. With hot wassail, homemade cookies, and live performances every weekend by youth choirs and musical acts, the Frazier is curating a Christmas season tailor-made for Kentucky!
DECOR
With lump-of-coal and cardinal bird ornaments and wreaths made with iron Bourbon barrel hoops, our festively-decorated interior pays tribute to Christmas in the Bluegrass State. A dozen real conifers with twinkling lights illuminate the Great Hall, which is garlanded with gold glitter laurel leaves and pomegranates. Snap a family photo with our holly berry and magnolia-filled trees, or visit the Museum Store to browse our selection of 60 different Kentucky Bourbons.
The holidays are the perfect time to visit the Frazier History Museum — where the world meets Kentucky for Christmas!
PROGRAMMING
Our family-friendly programming features a wide variety of hands-on activities and holiday-themed events, including an artisanal craft market, gingerbread house-making tutorials, Appalachian dulcimer lessons, gallery interactions, musical performances, live interpretations, and story readings.
